BHILAR

Red Wine

The grapes are destemmed and placed in concrete tanks where the fermentation starts naturally with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged in 225 and 500-liter oak barrels for 18 months. 
The oak is very integrated and neatly folded into the fruit, which is ripe (without excess), reflecting a warm and ripe year, nicely balanced with some peachy aromas. The palate is medium-bodied and reveals finegrained tannins.

LAGRIMAS DE GRACIANO

RED WINE

Sourced from grapes grown in different villages of Rioja Alavesa, Laguardia, Leza and Páganos.  Fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats where it is matured for six months before bottling. A rare opportunity to taste 100% Graciano from the cool climate region of Rioja Alavesa.  Pure with contained ripeness, freshness and varietal aromas such as black pepper and flowers, and it is bright colored, clean and has a gentle mouthfeel with fine tannins.

PHINCAS

Red wine

The grapes are harvested by hand and brought to the winery in 10 kg cases.
Half of the grapes are selected for whole cluster fermentation and combined with the remaining grapes which are destemmed and placed in a large oak vat where spontaneous fermentation begins with native yeast. After the fermentation is finished, the wine is aged for 36 months in 500-liter French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation takes place naturally.
A soft and impressively styled wine. Ripe, pristine dark cherries and chocolate on the nose lead into a carefully crafted luxuriously flavoured palate. Complex and elegant with notes of herbs and spice. Fine tannins and understated oak.

PHINCA EL VEDAO

Red wine

From a plot located in Elvillar at 450 meters altitude. The first production of this wine is made in 2014, from the vineyards of the plot planted approximately 30 years ago. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks and aging in 500L barrels.


The perfume of the Garnacha variety is very well marked, subtly balsamic with herbaceous aromas. It is tasty and with a serious palate, with very well integrated tannins and a touch of the terroir.

PHINCA ENCANTO

Red Wine

 Phinca Encanto Rufete mixes notes of smoked sausage, wild herbs, iron and soil, complicated by flowers and an amaro-like note. It tasted of sour cherries, quinine and earth, very unusual and surprising. The grapes come from very old vines on granite and slate soils and fermented in open-top 500-liter oak barrels, where the grapes are foot trodden and fermented with indigenous yeasts.

PHINCA HAPA

Red Wine

Sourced from the white limestone soils of our Biodynamic estate farmed vineyard, Hapa. This artisanal wine is hand harvested in 10 kilo cases following a rigorous selection in the vineyard. Once in the winery, the grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in a concrete tank. Following fermentation the wine is pressed and placed in 500L used barrels for 1 year.
Great freshness and perfume, wild flowers and berries, mild spices and a fine palate. This has a different style due to being fermented with full clusters, a little lighter and fruit forward, with a shorter elevage, different and quite approachable.

PHINCA ABEJERA

Red Wine

Sourced from our Biodynamcially farmed Estate vineyard, La Abejera. Planted in 1929 this gently sloped pure limestone soil vineyard has a west facing orientation and a high concentration of Graciano vines.
A sweet nose of beeswax and honey, sweet spices and garrique, quite aromatic and showy, with clean fruit and hints of tangerine peel. The palate reveals tasty flavors with great freshness and very fine tannins. Complex and refined with chalky, palate-cleansing acidity.

PHINCA SAN JULIAN

Red Wine

From a single plot located in Laguardia overlooking the wine border of Elvillar. A vineyard cultivated following the biodynamic principles, located on a sloping and steep slope, and worked with horses due to its difficult access to the land.
The wine is not oaky and seems to have taken the élevage quite well. It's detailed, floral and elegant, with a fresh palate, very fine tannins and also a note of graphite. It's perfumed but serious, somewhere between Burgundy and Bordeaux, with a Burgundian nose and a Bordelais palate.

PHINCA LALI

Red Wine

Sourced from a 0.54-hectare north facing plot of old, bush vines grown in the clay and limestone soils of our Biodynamic estate vineyard, Tajo. The oldest of our vineyards planted in 1910.
Intense fruit in the nose, Lali is dense with firm tannins. Intense meaty, bloody flavors, and chalky frisson. Powerful fruit intensity persists throughout the finish.

MEDRANO IRAZU JOVEN

Red Wine

The elaboration is by carbonic maceration typical in Rioja Alavesa.
Clean and very bright wine. Violet color, with bluish tones that denote freshness and youth. Intense and perfumed. First notes of carbonic maceration that give way to floral aromas accompanied by berries. Live, sparkling, easy to drink, highlight the flavors of freshly harvested fruits.

MEDRANO IRAZU CRIANZA

Red Wine

Selected manual harvest of 30 Ha. The aging is done in French oak and American oak in equal parts. Clean and bright Cherry red color with iodine tones. High layer with blue reflections. High intensity, with memories of its origins of carbonic maceration. Aromas of ripe fruits. Vanilla and hazelnut notes. It is a wine that enters smoothly, noting its stay in wood, and gives way to ripe fruit.

MEDRANO IRAZU RESERVA

Red Wine

Hand selected grapes in the winery. Aging in French oak barrels (70%) and American oak (30%) for 18 months with racking every 4 months.

 High layer, blood color with a lot of brightness. The wine has very good intensity , pleasant smell of new wood. Spicy, roasted, coffee and vanilla aromas. Unctuous, creamy and powerful in the mouth. The wood is well assembled. Balanced acidity.

LUIS MEDRANO TEMPRANILLO

Red Wine

Luis Medrano is the selection of the best grapes of the winery, vines over 45 years old with yields of 2,500 to 3,000 Kg / Ha.
High layer, blood color with a lot of brightness. High intensity. Pleasant smell of new wood. Spicy, roasted, coffee and vanilla aromas. Unctuous, creamy Powerful in the mouth. The wood is well assembled. Acidity balanced with alcohol, warm and with a good body.

AMADOR MEDRANO ROSE

Rose Wine

Clean and bright rose, pale salmon color with orange iridescence.
On the nose, the notes of acidic fruits and citrus are very well mixed.
The taste is fresh and acid, but without edges. Very elegant, it displays flavors of orange and stone fruit that mark the aftertaste.

AMADOR MEDRANO TEMPRANILLO

Red Wine

Cherry red color, well covered and with violet tones.
The nose is frank, with aromas of red fruits and a touch of minerality.
Balsamic and floral aromas. The taste in the mouth is balanced, fresh and alive. It is a tasty wine with a predominance of fruity aromas.

AMADOR MEDRANO GRACIANO

Red Wine

Cherry red color, intense and alive with violet tones.
In nose it presents the sensation of freshness with spice aromas, the palate is alive with a lot of energy, consistent and tasty.

AMADOR MEDRANO TERRA

Red Wine

Visually it is cherry red, intense, with a thin ruby border. The nose is fine with a sensation of ripe fruit, touches of Mediterranean bush and graphite background.
The taste in the mouth is tasty and expressive, the fruit predominates but with marked touches of graphite and spicy notes.

AMADOR MEDRANO COLECCION PRIVADA

Red Wine

It is a clean and very bright wine. Cherry red color, intense with a thin ruby edge. The nose has aromas of red and black fruits, notes of white wood and natural coffee are appreciated in addition to some balsamic touches.
Taste on the palate is tasty, with noble body and firm tannins. It is an expressive and elegant wine.

ALCO TEMPRANILLO

Red Wine

This wine was made by destemming and macerated for 10 days at a temperature not higher than 30 ° C. After it is pressed and finally pass through malolactic fermentation for 3-4 days.
A complete wine with distinct spiced flavour. Very fruity upon reaching maturity, with floral and balsamic undertones. Medium-high body, well-balanced, with nerve and freshness. Tasty, expressive, and with a strong presence.

KETTERER TEMPRANILLO

Red Wine

This wine was made by destemming and macerated for 10 days at a temperature not higher than 30 ° C. After it is pressed and finally pass through malolactic fermentation for 3-4 days. The aging takes place in oak barrels for 6 months.
Elegant Mediterranean character, mature nose, fresh palate. Aroma of red fruit compote, wilted blue flowers and spices.
Strong presence in the palate, consistent but fresh and fluid, well-balanced, tasty and expressive.

LEIBINGER TEMPRANILLO

Red Wine

Once the fruit has been selected, the processing is based on the destemming of the bunches and the soft grinding of the berries. The wine remains in barrels for twelve months and its aging is interrupted every six months to carry out the traditional racking from barrel to barrel.
Visually the wine has an intense cherry color with bright rims. On the nose fruity aromas and marked minerals assembled with a fine wood are perceived.
Taste on the palate is smooth with medium fresh body and with relief, quality tannins, tasty and alive.
